Hmmmm I wonder if you couldnt make Axiom work because you were focusing on a plug-in which was already "occupied" by Trigger Finger. Why dont you disable it momentarily to see if Axiom works ALONE with Sonar and take it from there?

There should be a disclaimer Under ACT. Some controllers may or may not behave correctly while using ACT. For Proper use, Use A Roland/edirol/Cakewalk controller for best performance.

Once more in this thread I stress that M Audio 49 silver, M Audio Axiom 61, Korg nanocontrol and Korg nanokeys all work fine here with ACT on XP SP2 32bit

I also have a Behringer BCR2000. Half of its physical controls would go wasted with ACT so Im using AJ's plug in.

I really wish CAkewalk would come up with ACT 2.0 -> map as many physical controls as you want.

Good point. I actually didn't have my TriggerFinger set up as a controlsurface for ACT when going through the phases with the Axiom. So what I did when I got the TriggerFinger to work was to add it - and it was brilliant. The Axiom still didn't want to obey. Now I've removed the TriggerFinger as an ACT controller and the Axiom works. Whatever just happened I have no idea but all of a sudden the thing works. I think I'll just leave it at that and fingers crossed for it to continue to work.

I've never had any problems with my Axiom or TriggerFinger before. They might not be the best controlers on earth, but I choose to stick with them;)

Mr Geek - you're a legend you hear!

That looks fabulous and I will take some time tomorrow to become an expert on ACT! Now I've been siting on my arse all day long so it's time to hit the gym;)

Thanks for your help - and thanks to everyone who's chipped in on this. It turned out well in the end.

This has been a great thread to read, Geekster I much appreciate the work you put into this, and ProjectM I really appreciate you sticking with it and getting it to work.

I like my Mackie for mixing, but would really prefer to use my Axiom for controlling the soft synths.  You have given me hope!

Best, -Harry
