I just lost the plot...
http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2388968 I may well have just relinquished my membership here. I'd let these two jokers get to me over the weekend in a thread that I reported to the moderators due to the abuse I'd recieved from them but to no avail, then I just saw this thread saw red and let rip. I've been feeling really quite ill the last few weeks (months?) and should have backed away as I know I'm not thinking straight, I've also got an appointment with the cardiologist in the morning and I know I've not been right sided because of that too. I'm not excusing my outburst or trying to justify it, I'm just saying if I can't get back on here after tonight, I understand the reasons for it. I've just been a silly bugger.

I hope everything is well with you. Never ever forget: Doctors are better than understakers. I asked to have my heart checkedabout 5 years ago. I had no symptoms but all the men on both sides of my family die from heart disease. The Drs did an echo cardiogram and found a murmor. The Cardio Dr said nothing was wrong with my heart other than that but since I was there they would take a look. The inserted something into my artery, in my leg. The doctor freaked. He told me I should be dead. He said I had a 99% blockage in my right main artery... I was sent straight to the cardio unit by ambulance, they put stents in that evening. I did not have a heart attack, they caught it in time. I am on plavix for life because I get blockages with no symptoms... actually I did have an unusual symptom, I lost about 10 pounds over a year and no one could figure out why. I immediately gained it back after the surgery. Hint: if you're going to get stents take some Cialis... the nurse has to help you pee because you can't sit up.... may as well make it interesting, laff. Really, you will be in my prayers. Be well Jonbouy... really. Stay down here for a while... and as soon as you can, you post an update.. re your condition. Julien

I have noticed your increased agitation and should have said something to you sooner. I apologize and feel like I have let you down, my friend. I also know that John T is nothing but an antagonizer. He offers almost no value or worth in his posts, but is here to simply antagonize the other members and is on a quest to stir up trouble where ever he posts. unfortunately, you have fallen prey to his crusade. John T attacks members, calls them names and uses profanity in the forum on a consistent basis. He has been reported to the moderators by many of the members, including myself. I have PM'd Brandon directly about him in the past and the only "discipline" he has received is a simple "don't do it again, John T" in the form of a post on the thread where he was reported for calling someone a "dick" and another a "jackass." if those are blatant violations of the TOS, then I don't understand the TOS. The TOS is being violated and mocked by John T. and in allowing him to do so, the moderators of the forum have no integrity. That also reflects on the company and the integrity or lack thereof for Cakewalk and for Roland. I am appalled by the way that the moderators have allowed John T to have such free reign. Jon, please do not allow him or anyone on this forum to affect your health. it is not worth it. please make sure you take care of yourself. I am praying for your health and well being, my friend.

Jonbouy you've done nothing to warrant any negative consequences. I myself am guilty of letting the Johns get under my skin. I've been upset with them since I joined these forums. Not because of anything they've done, but because of their names. When I registered I had to pick a user name. I typed in my name and was told it was in use. I typed my name and initial and was told they were in use. Add to that the insult of seeing these wanna be "John's", if those are their real names, being self appointed hall monitors. A bitter pill to swallow. Smithers! Release the John's!

I may well have just relinquished my membership here. That is exactly what the administrators and those forum clowns want, so don't give it to them. Don't be so hard on yourself! The mere fact that you 'realize' and acknowledge you may have went too far makes you a far better person than the other people who were involved in that thread. I've never once seen any remorse from them for their behavior or concern for their fellow forum members ... as a matter of fact, I've seen them proudly say they "could care less" and are "selfish" ... You did nothing wrong. You defended yourself when the people here who should have stepped in didn't, which is a disturbing trend. But like they say, it's their forum, they can do what they want ... just be prepared for the consequences is all I have to say ...

Jon, everything you said there was absolutely spot on. I also believe that the silent majority who read your comments will have been nodding their collective heads in agreement - and it's a pity this silence isn't broken by a few more though. You have my 100% support in what you said, and once I figure out the right words to use (as opposed to my usual 'bull in a china shop' approach ), I'll demonstrate it publicly upstairs.

Thank you for the support everyone, once again I'm humble by the power of the CH. As far as the shenaningans I got involved in, it has nothing to do with anyone else I fell short of my own code of conduct which is the only part of it I can actually do something about. It's all normally water off a ducks back to me I've just been letting it get to me of late for some bizarre reason. I used to moderate a combined forum for an entire county league soccer site, all the players and all the fans and despite that demographic it still makes me proud that it was a far nicer place to visit than upstairs can be as far as mutual respect and courtesy goes. @Olpal, I know but on ocassion I am that dimbulb and get like that proverbial wild boar in a peach orchard... @Reece, you could never be a let down to anyone as a friend. @Mickey McFinnigan, to be sure welcome to the Coffee House, your mere presence was cool. @Strummy, no demonstration required brother. @Bapu, as always you are a pillar of support. A big thanks to everyone for your supportive words, thoughts and prayers. As for the Doctor, I now have a brand new Cardiologist and he's agreed that I have a fairly rare but profound aversion to Statin based meds, he's given me some tri-glycerol? and some cholesterol figures to work toward and a target of 40lb's in weight to lose. If I can show a significant changes to these things over the next 3 months due to some simple lifestyle changes I get a reprieve from further use of these meds. Again I seem to have struck gold with another awesome medical professional. My main concern other than that is my mysterious chonic depressive condition which has been the worst it's been for a long time seems to be a trickier animal to deal with, but hopefully the complications caused by the cholesterol medication will cause an upturn there too. That is normally more of a management issue as there is no relief from it when it is bad other than to operate within the space it allows on any given day, it's when I try and fight it it all becomes desperate and difficult. Anyway as I say I really do appreciate all the support I get from here, it really counts.

I could be wrong, but I think the reference to "40 pounds" may have been the doctor's estimate of the fees he would be charged by TheBouy, LTD. for the priveledge of examining him. Clearly, the doctor underestimated the fee structure...
