There was a spin-off series for kids over here called 'The Sarah-Jane Adventures', don't know if it gets shown over your side. Sadly, Elizabeth Sladen died last year.

daryl1968 daryl1968 As a kid I had a 'thing' for Sarah-Jane Smith (not sure why in retrospect) She's the one on the left This is a scene from the seeds of doom, if you are going to get into classic who, start here: They have a compost machine and lets just say for the 1970's and a kids show it was one of the most violent things on TV. No wonder Mary Whitehouse was up in arms and for of those of you who don't know who Mary Whitehouse is look her up. Roger Waters referered her as a ****ed up old hag in the song Pigs off the Album Animals Peace Ben

Cheers , Jerry Huh I was just refering to the scene above, it's from the Seeds of Doom and it was just my opinion that this was a great point to jump off if you are going to get into DR Who. Yes I know who started in 1963, I have seen every remaining episode from that era, Troughton is one of the all time great Dr's and if it wasn't for him the show would not have lasted 50 years. I don't know where that attack came from. Peace Ben

Colin Baker could have been a fantasic Dr, IMHO but the BBC wanted to kill Dr Who by then and lets not for get Peri, that girl could not act but hell did she look good in a bathing suite. Sorry Jerry, I didn't realize you were talking about who's on first, Hartnel has some good stories, stay away from The Gunfighters though this regualry gets worse story of all time in who polls. Peace Ben

Ben, When it first hit the airwaves it was so new. Kids (me included) were hiding from the frightening images of a revolutionary (black and hite tv) programme. And all that without CGI ! The reçent spate of series from the reboot are good, some great, but the first episode with the Daleks (exterminate ...) wow. Brings back shivers. Cheers, Jerry

Its good we all have the same memories of this show, although I don't know if I was ever that scared, I think I have a brain disorder There are some massive rumours flying around at the moment, the Daleks are back in Series 8Pt2, they are dividing the series now into two runs and they are also changing the time scheduling so it can go back to a winter time slot, just for you guys. They reckon the show is more scary in winter. There is also a rumour that a famous monster that appeared in the show in the 60's and the 70's is going to make a reappearence, ok it's not a rumour the rumour is which one and there are only two candidates: The Ice Warriors or The Great Intelligence, The Great Intelligence is a Troughton monster and The Ice Warriors are a Troughton and Pertwee monster. But def one of these two are appearing in series 8. Finally there is a rumour of The Zygons makeing a return appearence but this is def a rumour. I love Dr Who too guys. Peace Ben

Well what happend Daryl they sent the episodes out to different countries and when they were first aired they had to be distroyed but not all of the countries have done this. Brazil for instance, and no I am not ****ting you. Epsiodes are being found all the time and they're are a lot, the problem is the whole serials and the episodes of the serials being missing. Now mind you this is just a rumour on Galifrey Base. But have you see The Invasion, The Troughton story where they have animated 2 of the missing episodes, brillent in mind and they're suppose to be a couple more of these coming too. Sorry if you knew all this. Peace Ben

No I wont post naughty links because I hate pirates, ok not real pirates, you know blackbeard, Capt Jack Sparrow, allthough he is a bit of a nancy lightfoot when it comes to pirates and I'd eat him for breakfast and no not that way. Go to youtube and type in Doctor Who Series 7 | Official Trailer | Stabilized Edition and you will find it. Neb
