Hi,

What? No decaf?

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I miss the "I say" thread that went on for years, quite literally.  Was a ton of fun.  I think Lee started it back in 2003 or 2004 or so.

“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

And what my wise, dearly departed father taught me about beer is also true of coffee: you can't buy it, you can only rent it.

BTW, the above sign hangs up in what I believe is the best coffee shop in the world: Greene's Beans in Hackettstown, NJ. FWIW.

Except you'd have to go to New Jersey to visit it and who in their right mind would want to do that??!

I could post about a hundred more just as pretty, but you get the point.  There are ugly areas, sure. But the balance of the state is not dedicated to the NJ Turnpike  or oil refineries. That's almost all east, next to NYC.

Now if you're talking about political corruption, I'll give you that one; we've got pretty much everybody beat.

Noice!  We have a lot of areas like those pics (which is why I live out here) but we're far enough away from New York.

When I was on the road, I got to see 46 out of the lower 48 (I missed North and South Dakota).  My very favorite state was Montana.  I also enjoyed Oregon and Washington.  Thankfully, one of the two days we had totally off and didn't have to play was in Missoula, MT.  I really wanted to move to Montana after I got off the road, but never did.  It's not likely I'll ever get back now.  My wife can't stand the cold, making NJ the best compromise we have as I can't stand the heat.  There's that, and now I'm pretty much tied to Newark Beth Israel Hospital for the duration.
