Yanno, I've been playing for over twenty years and people claim that I am quite proficient at what I do to the point they used to pay me to do it. First time I sat in front of a DAW and tried to create a track from scratch it was like being 12 again and not even being able to tune my instrument properly let alone cut something that sounded decent. The great equalizer.

And the joke is complete. *high five*

The only thing with DAW's about not using a metronome is cutting and pasting is so much easier with a metronome than with out. And collaborations and swapping parts and ideas are easy to and can be dropped in and out of projects
