Ham N Egz I used Line Monkey, after the win 10 upgrade, NOW, all I use the toneport for is a "dongle" for the VSTs, I have another audio interface, So In fairness I cannot attest to the operation of the unit, But, it shows up in device manager and all the Plugs it licenses work fine.
Can you see if your recording softwares detected the interface? My windows also detected it...
It does ,SPLAT list it under audio drivers
Well, I'm trying to stay in Win 10; gonna try some other tweaks... I'm also waiting a response from Line 6, I opened a ticket, yesterday. Thanks, guys!!

Ane, did you find a solution? I saw this solution at Line6 forums: "Just go to the playback devices and properties. Go the advanced tab and play with the options, the one that worked for me was 16 bit 48000 dvd quality!" This weekend I'll install my Toneport + Win 10 drivers from Line 6.

Hi, Mesh, I didn't have the time to test other tweaks but I will this week. I've already tried the DVD quality to no avail. The guys at Line 6 are a little lazy... They ask for answers that we already stated in the first message so it ends up in more time to wait for responses... If you can, let me know if you got your Toneport working.

Yeah, I see what you mean about them being lazy....(I ready some forum posts on Win 10 drivers and the popular consensus seems to be that Line6 is using drivers from 2013 while labeling it Win 10 ). It seems that for some these odd tweaks are working while others don't. I did however download all their current "Win 10 " drivers as well the updates to Monkey + Pod Farm Plat, but haven't installed anything yet.....will do so sometime this week and report back.

On the question of privacy, this was quoted on the Win 10 forum from Paul Thurrot who is a well respected independent Windows and PC expert. For the past two months, I’ve been on a lonely crusade, proving again and again that the so-called privacy issues in Windows 10 are nothing more than over-wrought complaints from ill-wishers and the tin-hat crowd. Today, Microsoft finally took up its own defense. And as you might expect, it says that Windows 10 does not violate your privacy. “From the very beginning, we designed Windows 10 with two straightforward privacy principles in mind,” Microsoft’s Terry Myerson writes in a post to Blogging Windows. “Windows 10 collects information so the product will work better for you. And you are in control with the ability to determine what information is collected.” That should have been obvious to anyone except those who have an ax to grind—my theory is that Windows 10 is so good, making up and exaggerating privacy issues was their only recourse. But Microsoft has also posted two separate sites, one for consumers and one for businesses, that go into greater detail.

No one poo-poos Magneto's helmet... Maybe because "tin hatting" him would cause repercussions??
