Just bought it. 1 minute later Sweetwater called and told me it'll be about 2-3 weeks till it's in stock....bummer. To bad they don't have a download version, any idea why they don't?

This is not necessarily true - I suspect SampleTank 2 will never be x64 and it will not be until the next version of SampleTank 3 (supposedly just around the corner for quite some time now) is released that it is an x64 native product. This is the reason in my past response I noted that for non major version updates x64 would probably not be a paid update, but that does not preclude a product remaining 32 bit and the next major revision being made x64. Perhaps I'm wrong, but Amlitube 2 was never made x64 as far as I know, but Amplitube 3 is x64 (a paid upgrade) - see what I mean.

I wonder why Sweetwater would run a deal on an item that they only had a "few" of in stock? They ran out kinda fast that they had to put current orders on two week back-order. Strikes me as being ill prepared to run the deal.

Ok, you guys got me w/ the (probably free) 64 Bit. I didn't need a reverb anyway, so how much harm can it do to buy one I've wanted for so long...
So now here's my CSR 2 Wishlist:
- A shell, like T-Racks and Amplitube allowing you to swap the different reverbs (is that a wish or an intuition? ;) and manage presets.
- Singles, emulating various classic units (I mean we have to take advantage of that shell, don't we?)
- A convolution-based reverb maybe - I have one in Logic but I don't think there's one included in PT so it'd come handy.

5 years later and the sound libraries are still classic. We have taken vintage instruments and captured them keeping them timeless. Plus all sound libraries IK makes will be compatible with the upcoming SampleTank 3 when it is released.

+111111 to CSR NEEDING TO BE x64 ASAP. "Some time in the future" is not a good enough time frame. If they would commit to a reasonable update time, I'd buy in, but I avoid non-64 stuff where ever possible.

Waves is charging for 64 bit. For my UAD stuff I have the choice of losing my UAD-1 or upgrading to a half price UAD-2 in order to get 64bit.
