This is an absolutely great price on one of IK's lesser known gems; four good quality reverbs. The only negative I can give is that CSR is still only 32bit; I already have it and have been hoping they would bring it up to date with 64bit. Still for this price it is almost a no-brainer deal.

IK has stated on their forum that they upgrading all of the IK line to 64bit. CSR is slated for this at some point. I wish they would hurry up.

Thanks for spreading the word! CSR is going to be 64 bit, but no ETA for the public yet. We'll let you know when we're close! :)

I agree with everyone above. I got it for free during a group buy and I was reluctant to get it thinking I didn't need another reverb. it's now my "goto" and I use it on every project!

I need a goto 'verb but multiple instances of bitbridge will make Sonar jittery and cause me prblems. I'd like to get this, but don't think I will.

I have the CSR Hall algorithm that I picked up as a group buy throw-in quite a few years ago and like it quite a bit, so I'm interested, especially at this price. Does anyone know if they offer digital delivery? It appears that this is for a physical copy only as checkout asks for a shipping address. I do wish Obi had a little more clarity on expectations on when CSR will be made x64 capable. I don't need an exact date, but give or take a month, a few months, next quarter,... would be nice. It would help making the choice a bit easier.

Knowing if the wait will be about 3 months or a year and a half would be helpful.

Jind, I also looked for a digital delivery and couldn't find it.....but, still ordered it. This is a reverb I've been on the lookout for and the price is really a no-brainer. (Valhalla Room is another I'm interested in) Thanks Craig for the heads up!!

Not surprised it's out of stock! I do deals all the time but the license transfer would be the cost of that. Bargain! Valhalla is cool. I'm pretty much all reverbed out but that sneaked in. Too many gave it the thumbs up and I heard it in context to how I would use it. ArtsAcoustic - a bit pricier - to match any reverb including the incredibly expensive ones. I've seen/heard it done. There are, of course, plenty out there now though and there's no need to go ultra-expensive.

I asked Philz to do a blind test of Valhalla, UAD Lexi 224 and UAD EMT 140 all with a basic Vox plate reverb. He cast for Valhalla and Lexi 224 over the 140. I already owned UAD EMT 140 and Valhalla but was on the fence for Lexi 224. I chose to NOT buy the Lexi. I own CSR but will wait until 64bit before I bring it back in the fold. Back in the 32bit days it seemed to me I was partial to UAD EMT 140 over CSR.

It was on top of my wish list for reverbs. I've demo'ed it last summer at the same time as I tried Valhalla. I couldn't justify paying the extra $179 for CSR. But I kept an eye on it for sales up until recently and also hoped for an upgrade. Now that Waves has dropped the iLock, has been upgraded to 64 bit and that you can find Renaissance Reverb - which offers not just 4 but 12 reverb types for $60 in one unified GUI, it may sound silly, but even $50 for CSR still seems overpriced to me. It's an older plug-in - and it shows in some areas, like the somewhat clunky blue on grey drop down menus which made me feel like I was back on a PC running Windows 2000 - 32 bits, though we know it'll be upgraded to 64 sometime in the future, but this means that you'll have to buy the upgrade. So it's probably still more expensive than the competition.

All of my T-Racks plugins were made x64 without an additional cost. Obi's comment above stated that CSR would be x64, not that future versions (ie. CSR 2 - if they were ever to make a new version) would be x64. Why assume it's going to be a paid upgrade?

Good point, it was an assumption I made, mostly due to the fact that it hasn't been updated in quite a while and I figured they'd do it as part of a big facelift. But I admit I may very well be wrong.
