Yup..I had already fired off a rather "haughty" reply to their second email telling me my SVX must have been a "promotional" copy. Well...not really haughty...to be honest it was downright angry. I usually don't let my temper get the better of me but we actually were one of the very first purchasers of the original TRacks and had to buy 4 individual licenses for our rooms. Plus...as you probably know...we also own almost every other gall dang thang they've put out since then.
If your listenin Peter...I'm sorry I got a little "het up". I'll check back tomorrow and see if it's been corrected.

Would have been nice if they had said somewhere on their promotional materials that bundles don't qualify for the discount.
Who am I kidding. With IK, 50% isn't a discount, it's pretty much the baseline pricing. I like IK, but things like this will put me off from buying this product for a very long time.

Honestly, I don't see the big deal. IK always seems pretty prompt at sorting this kind of stuff out. There's so much hate for IK around here that I just don't understand.

Couldn't resist! I had 25 gear credits and purchased 25 more for $25 - $7 (jam credits) for a total of $17.99. Seems like a no brainer to me. Thanks for the heads up!

No need to apologize, there unfortunately was a little bit of confusion and we had an unfortunately-timed site outage yesterday that had some key people out of pocket or we'd have this resolved right out of the gate. Thanks to our Support Manager for keeping on this, and I've tried to give him some supporting cheerleading to help but I'm not worthy of any credit, who kept on this and will help get all the confusion sorted out soon.

Because their upgrading policies is beyond abnormal compared to other developers...Steinberg can give them a run for the money.

My "sense of entitlement" says why not give those the upgrade price for a product upgrade long in the making.

There's so much hate for IK around here that I just don't understand.
It's more like frustration over IK's hyper-convoluted way of selling their products. Someone should teach their marketing department the value of the KISS rule. Would avoid a lot of headaches, not only for customers but for IK's support staff. Cheers, Eddie

Was excited by this, but the upgrade restrictions are a bit lame. I did get my SVX as a group buy add-on, but don't recall being told the bonus products would be upgrade hobbled. I can see forbidding resale, but barring existing users from upgrades is just a recipe for lost potential income.

Yep, I'm a registered SVX owner as well, but my SVX2 price shows up as $99, in The Custom Shop. That doesn't look like loyalty to me.

I'm watching closely as well. I own most everything but Mesa, at this point. I've got Gear & Jam Points ready to use as well. As the Bass Player for the band, this is a no brainer purchase for me.
I would hope that IK would make this right.

Much more fun to be had? Not from this angle! Seriously, though, I appreciate the patience of everybody here and a couple of us are making some waves to get things cleared up (like the MAX bundles change, but beyond that too). Ya I'm sure it's wonderful, as is probably Trillian. I'm not dying for a new bass lib. I don't really use the ones I have. They are backup (as would be MODO) for the day I decide playing my own basses is not an option.  I would only pick up MODO on a super deal and right now $149 is not a super deal (for me considering what I've outlines above).
