Why isn't there an "upgrade" price in the custom shop with gear credits? Cost was 100 gear credits for SVX 2.
There's an upgrade for 50 credits in my custom shop.
I'll reach out to support. I have literally every piece of AT and TR gear.

Paul contacted me and could not have been nicer. Even though my original SVX purchase was as a standalone product when it was first released...it was listed in my account as some kind of "freebie" promotion. Still he was kind enough to offer me a special code to purchase it at the $49 upgrade price. The only problems there were that i had indeed purchased SVX at full price when initially released...and the new code prevented me from using my jam points. So...i thanked him for his efforts but declined his kind offer. 1rst because im actually due the discounted offer and 2nd because i should still be able to use my jam points. No biggie...ill wait till its on sale.
PS...i hate typing on my pad.

I had the same reaction to the offer. If I can't use my jam points like others, not worth it to me. Peter is a good guy, though.

Well apparently IK IS OFFLINE AGAIN! OR the latest downloads are HOSED
I purchased the upgrade successfully but now when I try custom shop it is a black blank screen and authorization manager says I am offline, but I am not since I typed and posted this response
so must be whacked software
its back up

Same here yorolpal. Nice to get the discount code, but i did purchase it in 2009 and want to use my jampoints. Oh well.

I do have about 50 gear credits just sitting in the custom shop, and SVX does sounds very good.....but, I don't have a bass guitar.

You have some type of midi rig don't you Mesh. Play the bass in with Native Instruments J Bass or MM Bass and your midi guitar and put SVX in the FX bin.

I do like this, well worth $50. You are adding three new amps, rather than upgrading old ones,and those amps sound pretty darn good.

IDK I did not have any gear credits. But how would you enter the personal code in The Custom Shop? I don't recall that capability.

I guess I was lucky. Purchased the other day through IK's online store (not Custom Shop), and got to use 15 Jam Points, getting the price down to $35. Can't recall exactly how I got the original, but I'm sure it was through some IK "deal" at the time. A very nice piece, btw.

Ampeg SVX 1 within bundles now qualifies. If you received your SVX as a promo freebie, the system may not recognize as eligible. If you send your IK username to me or support I'm sure we can help as we have others. Thank you.

I added it at $39 (as an upgrade) as I had jam points. It's a an excellent addition!
Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Soundtoys who offers an everything bundle doesn't seem to care whether I paid for their licenses or got them free when it comes to that. Plugin Alliance is the same way. IK make excellent stuff and that makes it hard to resist.

Well those aren't really your answers. Bummer that it's set up that I can't use the code and finish it off with gear credits. I assume the system is not set up that way. I will wait till that changes.
