IK's Mastering EQ 432 is it my imagination or is this thing awesome?!

I decided to give this the free 14 day trial. Have any of you used it? It seems to give every master bus I've used it on a bit more sheen and intelligibility without getting in the way. Just what a mastering EQ should do. Has anyone used it yet? Post experiences and opinions. I've only logged a couple of hours with it , but so far I'm impressed.

+1 on the EQ 432.

If you can get it on one of their group buys (as a lot of us did), you can get a bunch of good plugs for dirt cheap.

It's very good indeed.  One of IK's best models.  But oh, my ... it's one of the biggest CPU hogs ever.  I guess that's why it's a "Mastering" EQ -- I sure couldn't use this on a bunch of tracks while mixing.

The T-Racks plugins are quite underrated, and the 432 is one of the best of a good bunch.

Mesh is right, if you can wait until the next group buy, you might even get 5-for-1.

It's great. I have all of the T-racks stuff and feel the whole thing is underrated. I still like to drop some wav files into the shell and play around. If having several different plugins wasn't so addictive...T-Racks could just about do it all.

It is every bit as good has most people say. The last t-racks group buy i ended up buying 2 and get 8 free. Last year GB was at december if I remember correctly. My mastering chain would be bus comp, octo comp, eq432, quad image, clipper and then breakwall.

Yeah,I've got 20 IK bucks, but that will only get it down to $129.99. Not terrible, but I know they have huge sales every so often. I just got the TRacks Grand for 149.99 It had 16 plugs in it. They put the trial version of the 432, some of the new console EQs  (the 1073 emulation sounds pretty good)and the "white channel" in it. Now I'm hooked!

IK has been pretty quiet so they should have a pretty good sale soon. I think they had 5 new T-Racks plugs last yeasr but none so far this year. They should have a Custom Shop credits sale some time soon too.

I'm guessing T-Racks 4 or whatever it will be called isn't too far off. I've heard them openly talk about Amplitube 4.

I would love to see the ability to put third party plugs in any T-Racks update. Or a roll your own channel strip.

I got the whole T Racks catalog during the last group buy, and although I don't use them much any longer, I must say that the 432 is one sweet piece of gear. A couple of weeks ago I stuck it on I think it was either a synth or piano track, just chose a preset, and whamm, I nearly fell off my chair, it sounded freaking awesome, the difference it made was amazing.

I also got a bunch of them during that group buy and just last night was using a couple of really good EQ's (81 & 73) on some guitar tracks (acoustic & electric)........simply gave an instant Wow by only using the presets!! Fine tuned them to taste and it sat really well in the mix. The Bus Compressor is also another very good plug.....heck, you might as well get them all!!

True dat Mesh. The 81 & 73 don't get the respect they should and the Bus Comp. The Black 76 and White 2A are also top shelf. And one of the top 2 or 3, the tape echo. I decided all these are good enough so I'm not chasing newer or better. I got a few doubles with what came with Komplete 9 Ultimate and Cakewalk and the Pro Channel but they are different enough. K9U's FX are simplified a bit (less knobs) and I like that sometimes.

The Black 76 and White 2A are also not shelf.

Absolutely +1 on the Black 76 & White 2A.
I use the Black 76 on a lot of various instruments (especially on drums) and it did some wonderful things with Nomad Factory's Cosmos.
I just couldn't find any love for NI's Supercharger (the Christmas gift version) as I've tried it at least a good half dozen times on various projects, only to remove the plugin from the mix.

Gotta get that Cosmos, Mesh.
On the other hand, starting to understand Larry's criticism regarding IK.
Heck, I tried to install the whole T-RackS on a new computer with their Authorization Manager. Some got formally authorized, as the number of available authorizations decreased by one, others didn't, but nothing actually works except in demo mode. Guess I'll open a support ticket.
Larry, man, you warned me.

Edit: funnily they work standalone, not in my daw
