I would hate to lose all my projects.

Just out of curiosity, how do you work with projects? I usually only have a few going, the finished ones I can't lose like that because those are exported to audio format and I always write out the charts for them. And after they are done I usually never go back and mess with them, and even if I would I have all I need in the scores and charts.
So at worst I would lose a few open projects if everything just dies out of nowhere.

I have many open projects that are huge affairs with dozens of synths, 80+ tracks, hundreds of lanes of automation and countless effects. So yeah, pretty big deal if Sonar stopped working. It would take me days just to recreate one of these projects in a new DAW.

I've been using S1P for a couple of years, and am fairly new to SPLAT ... so I haven't had the time to explore it properly yet ... but I like what I've seen so far. Both DAW are good, but a DAW is one thing, the community around it is another.
Things looks great in here.
