Installation Problem w 4 packages

Hi,  So I purchased X3 upgrade from sweetwater.  Get the download instructions and then the serial # is not recognized so I call cakewalk.  The guy is nice and ends up emailing me 4 installation files to download save then run. The files are labeled Install package 1,2,3,4  and instructions state to install one after the other.  Ater installing 1 i notice the pop up states to install 4 (skipping 2 and 3)  I figure it is a bug so i continue to install 2 and 3 packages , why else would cake walk send them to me.  Now after installing 3 packages.  I click on package 4 and a pop ups states i need to install previous packages.  Wow, is this actually a bug with the installation or am I really missing something here???  HELP !!!!   When I go to re install other 1,2,3 packages I still get the message when  I go to install package 4 that I need to install previous packages.  Very confusing.

    The number supplied by Sweetwater was probably not a serial number but a redemption code intended to be entered on this screen http://www.cakewalk.com/Redeem Calling customer support, they probably executed the redemption and sent you links to the download files. Here are the download installation instructions http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013359/SONAR-X3-Download-Installation-Instructions It should only be necessary to run part 1. The other parts are automatically run after part1. It sounds like part 1 was run. If this is the case, X3 should be completely installed.
     
    Make sure to apply the X3e update http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013361/SONAR-X3e-Update
    Then reset and rescan plug-ins http://www.cakewalk.com/S...ommended-for-Upgraders

    hmmm, after I run part 1 it tells me to run part 4.  When I run part 4 it tells me to install previous packages.

    I went back and ran install of part 1 again.  after it loads a pop up automatically comes up and says "installation incomplete, run installation package 4".

    It may be one of the parts is bad or the virus scanner is causing problems. This may help http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/2897838 The files should be in your store account.
