"fighting" is ironic in that to me it means going to war,drunken brawls and 30 year marriages not shadow boxing on an internet forum.

irony is intelligent people responding to threads they know should be left alone

See, now some may be offended by your statement (for the record I'm not in the least), some may find it funny, but if I were to be 100% honest, I can't tell if you're laughing with me or at me, and I think that's a major factor in what's been going on here lately. That and total breakdowns by some eccentrics while the rest of us are told to keep quiet and sit down by people who have absolutely no right to tell anyone what they can and can't say. It just seems so flippin' strange here lately. Did someone slip something in our drinking water?

i was with you on that one-i was filling out my monthly tax tithe when your liberalism statement caught my eye.
i left school at 15 and have worked hard ever since.
my wife and i pay over 40% of our income in personal and business tax and i was thinking of how many degrees we have paid for and how many "mature aged students" we are supporting.
i was going to post this thought ,but realised it would be too inflammatory in an already ugly game of tit for tat although now you`ve prompted me i hope it will be taken in context especially considering you cannot punch an avatar without hurting yourself or the screen
the problem(IMHO) with forums and texts etc is  the generalisation and the need to encapsulate your opinion in a couple of lines -
without all the visual clues and subtlety of a "normal" discussion.
we have just amended the discrimination laws to allow restauranteurs to deny access to children where they consider it inappropiate to their clientele..
your comment about "screaming brats"in the coffee house lacked the appropriate emoticon and Rimshot had every reason to call you out and you reacted accordingly by removing the offence(how do you do that by the way?)
-that joke`s been around for ages and as a child we were "seen but not heard" and excluded from adult activities,the upside being that we were free to be children,make our own toys and used our imagination rather than the hand held alternatives my grandchildren use but times have changed and the transition from child to young adult is now barely perceptible.

my advice is to use the stupid emoticons to convey your ironyetc........

Yes it was me, I love messing with peoples minds, in fact Timothy Leary (Harvard professor and high priest of the LSD cult) had a falling out with Aldous Huxley (mystic and intellectual) when Leary wanted to put enough LSD into the Californian water supply to give everyone a trip!!.

I know who I am I am Capt Trouble and I was sympathetic to bubs opinion on liberalism, I reiterate you would not want me in your work place, so I am sorry WHS, I looked you up and still no name if you find funding adult students in bad tase, I reiterate would you want me in your work place I belong in uni, except I was an ass (there's another for you daryl) and coasted and I don't have the marks to get into research.  So I have to satrt again, this time to get the marks so I can go into research, well sorry actually you support that too.
 
But I reiterate, who would want me in their workplace, I run at the speed of light and am smarter than most people, all I do is cause trouble because I ask WHY???? Liberlism for your.
 
Now back to the song forum, I made this thread because there is enough good material to make some sort of compilation to actually market and sell and this includes bubs track.  Philps is really excellent even though he sneaks his christan ethos in there as well.
 
There is some excellent country stuff and some of classical that is up there is amazing, don't worry daryl, I will get to yours.
 
I was just thinking that perhaps instead of fighting we find away to market and sell of the product that comes up on the songs forum.
 
I know of a couple of ways, it would also be good publicty for The Cake as well.
 
So opinions on this would be good!!

Hey Tony, yes I can be a dingbat, very aussie that.

Actually when I slow down, I can type out quite coherent thought patterns and yes the grammar does improve.  Its also this damm wireless keyboard, I need to get a better one.  Also I am learning this grammar caper as I go, I did not even finish year 10, although I did advanced English in year 11 and got 16 out of 20 for my final exam, wierd I know!!!  What actually happend was I did parts of year 10, almost all of year 11 and bits of year 12, so my grammar issues come from this checkered learning enviroment.  But as I say, if I slow down and I am learning as I go it is getting better. 

When perhaps you first met me I was on a bender, I am not a drug addict or an alcoholic at all unless you call maybe 3 quaters of a bottle of wine a night an alcoholic and in which case most people are.  I just need a little wind me down.  I have taken Valium, all out at the moment, so no drug addiction what so ever. 

I do like pot, not going to deny this, this is the only drug that I really like because it slows me down.  I think really really fast, so sometimes I do perhaps come accross a little incoherent but once again if I slow down I can put together a cohesive argument. 

You don't know what it's like, I am here, chatting, I'm on facebook chatting, I'm on twitter chatting and I am reading the paper so I keep my eye all these different feeds all at once, so you can imagine I can become confusing.

I suppose I am going to make everyone think I a drunken drug addict again soon, when I put together my new youtube cooking show The Drunk Chef.  I already have filmed the first episode, where I make Beef Stroganoff and just between you me and this forum, it turned out great even if it was a little dangerous.  I am actually an excellent cook even if I do say so myself!!

Thats the thing people just don't get about me and maybe you have picked it up, I am a twit but my heart is def in the right place and just like the rest I am trying to find my place in the world!!

As for friends I have had so many and I have lived a rich and varied life, this forum is just an outlet as I wait at the busstop for the next bus to arrive.

I am hoping Fine Arts because I can get away with a lot more in "Arts" than I can in music and I can try and right the wrongs of coasting through my technical degree's by getting the marks so I can go into research.  I am actually pretty good at research but this incredibily fast mind does make it hard.

Hmm I suppose Tony you will find this to be just another incoherent rant but I am just being me!!
