Not sure if I'm dumbfounded... but pleasantly surprised maybe?

So if they have a version of X1 they deem stable enough to install at EMI,  WHY WON'T THEY LET US USE IT TOO?????

It's only a one off in the room where the muso's eat their sandwiches at lunch time, it's an alternative to the ping-pong table for those that get demoralized by my power serve with top-spin and slice.

The ping pong table in there is only stable if you put a beer mat under one of the legs but it's usable.

Or did I just make all this up?

ahahahahahahahahahaha. No no you don't get it. EMI headquarters guys are their beta testers. in cooperation with them they'll solve the current problems. I'm just curious to see how would Billy Joel react if he had to build a whole new track from scratch in X1.

Would 'garage' be a suitable replacement for 'stable'?

There have been complaints about X1?

    On what grounds?

I've had absolutely no problems with it.

With all due respect Mr. Bouy you are obviously completely oblivious to the fact that X1 is unusable.  Your proclamation of "no problems" simply means that you have not had the experience or authority with which to judge X1 for what it really is.  You have obviously not used X1 enough to know that it is utter crap and should not have ever been released onto an unsuspecting user base which had been completely loyal and without complaint one until X1 came along.  Please refrain from passing judgements in the future which are so obviously your fault for lack of your ability to see the forest for the trees.

Please spend some time upstairs in the X1 Complaint Department and if you are not soon converted then you are likely to be branded a "fanbouy" and no one will ever take you seriously in the X1 forums again.

Well, Bubba, I was talking to JB, so, take that in the context that I intended and try not to extend it to those to whom it does not apply.

Well Beag, I figured it would end up here anyway if I posted it in the X1 forum, so I just figured I'd be a nice guy and save the admin from having to move it.

And besides, I think you've misunderstood me. I personally love X1, my PC hates it. I've been struggling to make peace between the two since December, but they just can't get along.

I'm going to change my PC's clock to EST asap!
