Cell phones probably also play a big role. They make it easy to read and follow what's happening but I rarely post unless I'm in front of a proper keyboard

I have been on this forum for only 6 years but in those 6 years not only have I learned an endless amount of circus tricks to perform (like making poodles out of balloons) but I have also learned so many great techniques from so many gifted music engineers. Sure the majority of us are probably bedroom producers with glorified studios (great set ups) but we are a happy bunch of folks sharing help and info with one another. More so, I have in my short tenure I have met some great people who I would like to call friends. Im not always the easiest person to deal with, so thank you all for putting up with me.

I've never been a very prolific poster and there have been big gaps in my attendance, but I look through the Sonar forum every day at the moment. It's a great place to pick up new tips and help others out and there's a great bunch of people here too.
Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

Hi. I might post in different forums at different times, but quite active As mentioned earlier, there was probably more posts at the release time of the different / earlier products / releases than now, due to release dates so much closer together. All the best.

I miss some of the old timers who came around. I tend to make this place one of my stops every day. I go through periods where all I want to do is read the posts. Then I go through times when I am more apt to post, Seems to come and go for me. I haven't been run off with a stick yet which is, I guess, a good thing. Things tend to balance out over time. I don't think it's healthy to become too invested in a forum. At least for me it isn't. I tend to analyze things at the social level. There are people here who I have been in threads with for years, yet to this day I have never felt they directly addressed me. We tend to address a subject and not a person which always made me feel uncomfortable, but that's me. There have been a few squalls that have ended in a few leaving, having said that, I can't think of too many places where there is such a quality group of people with the same or similar interests.Even if you don't use Sonar, this is a nice place to visit. Facebook is usually a big waste of my time. I tend to prefer a forum.

Same here. I catch up with all the latest posts on my phone while I am out of the house. I always have in mind various replies that I intend to post when I get home. But when I finally get on the computer, I usually find that questions have already been answered or that threads have taken an unexpected turn and my intended comments no longer seem pertinent. So I end up not posting. I never post on my phone. It's too small and my fingers are too big. I tried it once. Too many typos.
