Is it just me?

Is it just me who finds having 32 tracks assigned to one instrument in the console view would be so much easier to cope with if the console view could have folders in the same way the track view does?

If I load Kontakt or BFD3 (or any other multi-out instrument) I really don't feel the need to have all 32 mono tracks (or 16 stereo) showing in the console view ALL the time. I only want to see them when I'm working on them.

I've just been using platinum's latest build and am so disappointed that cakewalk still haven't got round to doing this, it can't be hard to do and is such an obvious hole that needs filling. Or it least it is to me but I seem to be a voice in the wilderness

I agree it would be ideal if there truly could be a 1:1 correspondence between what you see in Track View and what you see in Console view with respect to folder tracks. But there isn't, so the best solution I can offer is turning off visibility sync between the Console and Track views, and using the Console view Track Manager to hide the MIDI tracks.

Go to the console view, go to Strips, go to Track Manager, go to the multi-out instrument and un-tick the tick next to the instruments name.

Andertonso the best solution I can offer is turning off visibility sync between the Console and Track views.

I did that back in Sonar 2 or 3 or whenever that option came about.

Using the Console view Track Manager to hide the MIDI tracks.

That would actually take longer and be more fiddly than have to slide the console view back and forth.

The best thing would be for cakewalk to make it so

I can turn off the tracks I don't want to see in about 4 seconds.

Or just press, 'H' on your keyboard, neither of which come close to what I would like to see.
