Kontakt player full version
Does anyone know if the Native Instruments Kontakt player (full version) ever goes on offer / sale?
I've got the right for the crossgrade deal, which brings the price down alot, but I was wondering if there were any places, like 3rd party dealers, that can beat the crossgrade offer?

Native Instruments is having a 50% off sale this month. You can combine that with your crossgrade, and get it for half price!
Let's see if I understand this. The site says Kontakt player has 50% off upgrades/updates to this product, but doesn't mention crossgrades. As mentioned above, finding the crossgrade link is a bit fiddly, and on that page there is no mention of the 50% off. I qualify for the crossgrade and the site states on the comparison chart "Crossgrade from KONTAKT-based third-party products: 124,50 €". Is that right? That's a great discount, don't get me wrong, but I don't see any additional discount being added at checkout. Does this mean the crossgrade has no discount, or am I missing a trick? If there is no discount, I'll wait until later in the year to get the crossgrade (I've got some other purchases I need to do this month). Anyone know? What's the best way to contact NI?

Having read this thread when I was looking on the NI site, I was also a bit confused and helpless.  But like you I found some information on the comparison chart. burgerproduction

The second thing I found out is that you can click the "buy now" button on the Kontakt page and then select "Crossgrade" on the following page. Like that you can see that the crossgrade has also 50% off, i.e. normally it is 249,00 €. So yes it is right, take your chance !  Marc

OK, this is the bottom line for the pricing on Kontakt 5. Full price = $399 Crossgrade price = $249 Crossgrade with June 50% discount = $124.50 (50% discount on upgrades and crossgrades) To see the correct price, login to you NI account and add Kontakt 5 to your cart. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-5/ Make sure you select the crossgrade version in the dropdown menu in the cart, not the full version. NI will immediately inform you if you are eligible. Deal ends Saturday.

Thanks for all your help with the crossgrade pricing - I bit the bullet this morning and bought the Kontakt player at a very reasonable price (shame I couldn't apply the €25 voucher too).
I'll be downloading everything tonight - looking forward to getting some Orangetree sample libraries to go along with it. ;)
