Least favorite Ringo song?

Assuming you are a Beatles fan. Non fans need not reply since we (the chosen juans) know all of them are you least favorite.

You do not have to want to banish it from the world, but what Beatles song do you turn off it comes on the radio.

Me? Yellow Submarine.

My worst moment for this song was when I saw Ringo and his All Star Band and they did this song. I went to the restroom.

Can you reply if you're neither a fan nor a non-fan?

Assuming solo tunes are included, 'Just Like Starting Over'

None I can't stand, really.

The Long and Winding Road w/ Spector's arrangements is borderline.

I get the point of Revolution 9, but having heard it a few times is enough - it's not something you wake up wanting to listen to eight days a week, is it? Tough I rarely bothered to skip it when listening to the album.

Krist,

When I saw the Fab Faux do the entire White Album I said (in my head) "they certainly will not do Rev # 9". But... they did to a tee. And the really only used about a dozen samples. Now, that was worth it.

Yellow Submarine is right up there but I really hated Let It Be.
Maybe because it was played so much.

I didn't really hate any Beatles songs, but some were just, "meh." I ignored the ones I thought were boring and focused on the interesting ones. If I had to pick some yawners, I'd go with this list. I apologize in advance if I've listed somebody's favorites. I'm not saying they're bad, only that I they didn't hold my attention.
  • Do you want to know a secret? (That's okay. I'm good.)
  • Birthday (Most Boring Drum 8 Bar Break Ever)
  • Long and Winding Road (I know, I know. You love it. It's a masterpiece. For me, it might as well be a lullaby, because I'll be asleep before it leads to your door.)
Some of my favs off the top of my head (just because I want to list them) include:
  • A Day in the Life (I don't care. I like this one.)
  • Strawberry Fields
  • I am the Walrus
  • Lucy in the Sky (There may be a theme here)
  • Come Together
  • Fool on the Hill

Coming from Liverpool as I do, The Beatles Complete Guitar Edition was standard issue for aspiring young guitarists, so at some point I have plunked and plonked (and murdered !) the entire Beatles catalogue. I honestly cant think of one I dont like. Even Yellow Submarine is a fantastic kids song, and just emphasises how incredibly diverse and entertaining their output was...

I've always preferred Lennon songs and some of McCartney's output left me quite indifferent, but I've come to appreciate that he was always trying his hand at different forms.

Some of that stuff went way over my head, like When I'm Sixty-Four or You're Mother Should Know, but I've developed a taste for them, even if I don't seem to respond on a gut level as I do when I hear Lennon.
