Sorry, I assumed everybody using Platinum version with lifetime updates. So- yes, I am on Windows 10, Sonar Ultimate.
It makes total sense to hold some key to dock windows. No sense to have to deal with them constantly glue to the background and have to undock them. I also don't know what you mean by different driver. I use the latest available driver for the video card- it has only one latest update. It updates itself every time AMD releases new version. I have gaming video card.

I did try to use Settings. I unchecked first option which grayed out all other snap options. Now when my Piano Roll open on the 2nd monitor, I can not grab and drag it without minimizing it first. I used to be able to just drag it from maximized position to the first monitor. Also the Sonar docking with blue area is stil on. Appears that it does not get affected by Windows setting.

Is it possible that the hot spots in Sonar are being confused with Windows snap assist?

Interesting. I'm surprised that it would make it different.

One of my systems has a video card that gets goofy with some drivers and that experience was the first thing I thought of when I read the OP.

I agree that it would be nice to have the option of turning those grab regions off.
