It is not that you added an SSD, but that you moved something to the new SSD, that the system was looking for in the old location. Each new drive is assigned a new drive letter, and the system keeps track of what is where by which drive letter it is located under. You can fool the system into thinking the stuff is at the old location by using a symlink, but it would be better if you just changed the location to expect to find the file in the program that is looking for it. I have no idea what a BML library is, but whatever program uses it is getting confused because it expects to find it in the old location.

Thanks Slartibartfast for your advice. BML is a set of Strings orchestra from Spitfireaudio Company . It is a Kontakt library and after i moved it to another location on my new SSD , when i run the project again, akontakt couldn't find it and asked me to show the location that the library exist.I browsed it and it found all the Library. but still  shows error and some times sonar doesn't show any error but there is no sound come out of my speakers. meters are showing something is playing but no sound.

there might be some helpful info here to read / or share:
http://forum.cakewalk.com/Kontakt-5-is-causing-SONAR-Platinum-to-hang-m3472485.aspx
this is an ongoing thread related to crashes with Kontakt in sonar. it might be un related but it couldn't hurt to see if any of these issues pertain to you.

and gives me and yes and no option.
after I press yes another error message pops up. It says SONARPLT.exe has stopped working and forces me to close the program.
I backed to the previews save before adding Kontakt, sonar started to work with no problem.
I have the latest version of Kontakt and my pc is updated. It doesn't show this behaviour with new project.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi Reza,

Did you follow through fault reporter and log a problem reporter case? If so please list the case number since we can look at the dump file produced. If not can you share a link to the minidump file generated from that session?
Here is a KB article explaining how to get a dump file when SONAR crashes.

  1. Open the Run Command by holding down the "windows" key on your keyboard and pressing "r"
  2. Type in the following: %appdata%\Cakewalk
  3. Click [OK]
  4. Navigate to your Cakewalk program's  folder
  5. Navigate to the Minidumps folder
  6. Locate the .dmp files within.
The .dmp files all should contain a timestamp of the time of the crash. So if it is 2/1/2011 at 10:26 am, your file should contain a title similar to "02012011_102620.dmp". This can be useful for locating the correct .dmp file if there are multiple listed.

The crash is in your VS700 driver not in SONAR so there isn't much we can do to help here.
You can try opening the project with the a different audio device or try a different driver mode.

Thanks Noel
After some searching I found out others have same issue with vs700. So as Roland stopped supporting vs700 technically I will have this kind of issues in future. I am thinking to buy a protools HD card and Apogee symphony to run Sonar on them. I was told it is possible run Apogee in this way on PC, But I am still searching to find a proper solution.
Anyway thanks again for your following up.
