Does it by any chance have a different serial, or registration code compared to the monthly subscription?
Have you tried to rollback to an older version in CCC, and the update again? (Do not know if it will help or not, but..)
To do this: Right click on SONAR in CCC, choose rollback, and go to previous version (2016.07, IIRC). After installing, I (always do this, just to make sure) would reboot.
When pc has started, open CCC, and update SONAR.
