  • SONAR Artist Licence has dissapeared

Hi there,
 
I was on a monthly membership but upgraded to annual early August. Cleverbridge stll took the monthly payment last week but refunded promptly. I logged in today to run the latest update but I no longer have a license. It is not in Command Center or my account on the website. SONAR is now in demo mode. Has anyone else had this issue? I have emailed Cleverbridge, not sure if I should be askin CW support but its the weekend and I finally have time to play. Any other suggestions guys?

Hi, and welcome to this forum. 
Do you have the receipt for your annual purchase? If so, maybe try to get in touch with one of the Cakewalk staff via a PM. Explain your situation, and hopefully get things sorted. 
You did not by any chance cansell the wrong membership (annually, instead of monthly)?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah I have the receipt and it shows on cleverbridge's purchase history. I definitely only cancelled the monthly subscription, it was a link on the billing email. SONAR showed as owned in my account and was valid till September 17 in the about box. I've emailed cleverbridge but not hopeful of an answer over the weekend.

Does it by any chance have a different serial, or registration code compared to the monthly subscription?
Have you tried to rollback to an older version in CCC, and the update again? (Do not know if it will help or not, but..)
To do this: Right click on SONAR in CCC, choose rollback, and go to previous version (2016.07, IIRC). After installing, I (always do this, just to make sure) would reboot. 
When pc has started, open CCC, and update SONAR.

I don't think the serial ever changed, my account just changed from monthly to annual. SONAR is just no longer in my products on my account page or in CCC. Just completely dissapeared. I know it will get sorted out eventually but still pretty frustrating thing to happen.

I fixed your record so you should see Artist again. Anyone else having this specific kind of issue can post in this thread
