Wonder if someone can help me solve my dilemma. Have a set of .wav files (24 bit, 48k) recorded in Logic on a Mac. I need those files to be imported into Sonar Platinum - I'm getting an error that says:
 
DirrectShow Error [0x80040265} Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported.
 
How can I get these files to import?

sounds like those files may have been corrupted in the process of exporting them from logic.
its also possible your missing a codec to play those files

I get this with mono/stereo mismatches, especially if FX are involved.
 
Determine whether the files are mono or stereo, then create an appropriate track format (with no FX loaded) before importing. See if that helps.

Also...make sure you're not trying to import the image files by accident (they start with ._). I've done that enough times that if I told you how many times, I'd be very embarrassed.

Thanks and I have to admit that I WAS attempting to import the image files - duh (palm of my hand to the forehead...). Really appreciate that heads-up. I will be more (ie entirely) aware of that in the future.
