  • Convert aiff to aif

My publisher has asked for audio to be sent in the aif format.  He specifically said he doesn't want aiff.  It looks as though Sonar Platinum does not export aif.  Does anyone know where I can go on the Internet to convert aiff to aif?  I need to get this music to him ASAP!

Thanks!

Thank you!  I downloaded one of the programs in the google search before writing the post.  I couldn't get it to work. I went back and tried it again after your post.  It works fine now.  Most of the programs will read aif, but not convert to aif.

Thanks so much!

I always thought AIF and AIFF were the same.

The funny thing... my publisher got back to me and said all I have to do it delete the last "f" in aiff and it will go into his system.  This makes no sense at all to me.  Sure enough- it worked!

That's what I would have suggested. Check out this thread for more info.

Craig, I sure wish I would have come across your post sooner!  It would have saved me tons of time.  It's working great now!
