OK, I don't like that fact that I can't change the color of the entire Console channel strip and track strip as well, unless I am overlooking something.   It appears only the bottom of the Console channels can be changed.

Tell me I'm wrong Baker's, what didn't silly me do?

Oh, I just read the  documentation on this update, the removal of the track and Channel strips full colorization has been removed and replaced by the ability to only add color to the bar at the bottom of the Console channel and the edge of the track strip.  I am not in favor of this Cakewalk..

Yeah, it's a negative for me. Otherwise, I really like the new theme, but for practicality's sake, I'm sticking with the old one.

At last it is possible to see clear difference between enabled and disabled plugins, knob rings are great as well, it's a pity however there is no possibility to do more customized choices on more elements like for instance pickup color for how enabled or disabled plugin look like (and in such case make it possible to emphasize difference in their states also on mercury theme).

this is frustrating.

i lose audio to my channel from my Scarlett 18i8.

i'll have it at first, but after eq'ing my drum tracks, it will stop receiving a signal.

i can start a new file, setup the input, all is good, the minute i do ANYTHING to another track...

DEAD.

again, this was not happening before the upgrade.

-update:

still no go with Sonar.

other DAWs are working fine.

Just installed the update and loaded up a recent project.

Themes is interesting and I basically like the Tungsten theme however why can't I create and save my own ?

And I have found a bug. For some reason I can't always use the trusty alt k/b to split a file. Some tracks it works fine others it doesn't. And something else is odd in that when I do press the alt button there is a discernible delay before you actually see the cursor change to the scissors.

Odd, eh ?

EDIT - did a system restore (Hooray W10!) and cranked up same project. First thing that struck me was how much I preferred Panu Dark Side :)

Tried to perform the same functionality (alt on the k/b) on the same track and couldn't split it. Worked fine on the one below it. The difference ? One had an envelope and one didn't. The one that had it wouldn't let me split with ALT. SO it appears this isn't a new version bug at all. Sorry for the false alarm.

Question though - have tracks with envelopes always had an issue with splitting ?

Just to make sure no one gets the wrong idea, this is only for Tungsten. You can still color channel strips in Mercury.

I have the same issue. At least when you hover the mouse over the effect you can see the name.
