During clip editing, sometimes, you want to "blend" two clips together to clean up the cross-fading, or to ensure there's no gap. Usually, we can perform a Bounce to Clip, but this means that ANY other editing or effects, automation, etc. will be finalized in the new clip. Many times, I simply just want to connect two clips into one. For example, let's say I've performed a good bit of Speed-Comping, but now I want to clean up some of the splits in the comping. Or I've split a clip, or pasted into an existing clip (a function I'm still quite unhappy with in how it works in Take Lanes). When a clip is split up, it can not easily be reconnected.

In the MIDI PRV, you have the option of "gluing" two notes together. I'd like to see a similar approach to clips. Perhaps a "healing" or "mend" tool/function to connect two clips together, but without having to Bounce them.

Thanks!

I would definitely like this option as well. My reasons can be found here...

This healing functionality already exists. Select the two (or more) clips by Ctrl-clicking or lassoing, and then Ctrl-click one of them with the Comp tool.
