A-300 Pro keyboard has no windows 10 drivers yet, 8 and 8.1 drivers do not work for this keyboard.

THambrecht,

Thanks for the good news about the Octa-Capture and Win 10.  That one bit of information was what I was waiting for in order to update to Windows 10.  ow I have to go through the process of performing a clean install of Win 10.

See the below link if you want to perform a clean install of Win 10.

Sad that my UA25-EX will not work. I have been using that, and my laptop since Sonar 8.5, as a mobile studio and it's been faultless.
The UA-1G, however, works just fine albeit without midi.
I do hope that Roland can see their way clear to update some of their older gear, I for one am going to drop them an email right now.

I have both my Studio-Capture and Edirol PCR-500 MIDI keyboard working in Windows 10, thanks to a hack that was posted by Blades in the computer section of this forum.

I suspect SOME other devices may also work with the hack.

Good News!
I contacted Roland UK about this and they got back to me very quickly, expressing surprise and asking where I'd got the news from.  When I checked the link again I found that the status of the UA-25EX has gone from "NO" (no plans to provide a Windows 10 driver) to "Under Testing"!!
Feeling very relieved here!  Confidence in Roland restored for my part.

1. Download and unzip the latest available driver from Roland for your device.
2. Rename the folder to avoid confusion later (add doctored to the folder name).
3. Look in the 64bit/files folder for a .inf file starting with RDIF e.g. RDIF106.inf.
4. Open this file in Notepad.
5. In the [Version] section, delete the line starting with the letters CAT.
6. Scroll to the [Manufacturer] section and edit the first line to look like this:
    %MfgName%=Roland,NTamd64.10.0,NTamd64.6.4
7. Change the lines relating to Windows 8 to the following:
    [Roland.NTamd64.10.0]
    ;; Windows10
8. Save the file.

9. Hold the SHIFT key while selecting RESTART in the power option.
10. At the next presented screen select TROUBLESHOOTING.
11. Press the RESTART button at the next screen.
12. When the options screen is presented, press F7. The computer will reboot.
13. Log in and install the driver from the SETUP in the 64bit folder.
14. Acknowledge the security message with 'INSTALL ANYWAY'.
15. Driver should complete it's installation sequence. Close any alerts regarding signatures.
16. Equipment should respond to driver installation (lights etc.).
17. Repeat steps 9 - 12 to check drivers are working after a second F7 reboot.

Equipment should work every time the F7 reboot sequence is performed. Windows will very likely reject these unverified drivers on a normal start up.

It is true that Microsoft will be distributing the new drivers, but this may get you by in the meantime.
