I'm looking at getting a more sophisticated Reverb. I really like the Rematrix-solo built into SPLAT, and the full one does appear very nice.
An earlier thread demonstrated that Overloud seemed quick a fixing a documented Rematrix bug, which is impressive.

The reviews are generally good, so I was hoping someone would share experiences with the full Rematrix and possibly know of a comparison with other reverbs.

I should add that I primarily write orchestral music using EWQL Hollywood Orchestra, Albion One & 1, and a tiny bit of Microslav 1 & 2.
 
EWQL's Spaces is an obvious candidate with a price similar to full Rematrix.

ReMatrix full has become my go-to reverb, replacing Waves IR1. I still really like some of the Waves impulses, but the ability to have multiple impulses loaded all at once, zero latency, and the tweakability of ReMatrix kinda seals the deal for me. A couple of (minor) gripes: the preset organization isn't great (search this forum and you'll see a thread or two about that), and, AFAIK, you can't import IR's from other programs, but other than that I love it. 
 
I've been meaning to take a look at the new Waves H-Verb, and I haven't tried Spaces, but right now I'm pretty much just using ReMatrix, Valhalla, and occasionally the IK CSR stuff.

It is as good of a reverb as you can find.  Very flexible and yet still simple to operate.

You can import IR's...as long as they are not in a proprietary format, like Waves' WIR. I've imported a bunch that I use in PerfectSpace, as well as a ton that are available around the 'net. My biggest complaint about that is the process is kind of tedious, and all the IR's are stored in some type of single-file database. I hope corrupted databases won't become a thing.
 
I like ReMatrix, but it isn't my go to as of yet. When I use it, I generally have a specific purpose in mind, or I'll combine it with another reverb.

Importing your own IRs into REmatrix is worse than tedious and it's preset system isn't very great (needs a search badly).  But the way it can blend multiple IR files plus it's filtering and conventional reverb combination makes for very powerful reverb presets.  The ones that come with it and the additional addons are really excellent.  For me it's the way it combines a bunch of different reverb systems into one box that has made it my goto reverb.
 
EWQL Spaces is hard to compare with REmatrix (or any conventional reverb).  It has very few (almost no) options.  You cannot bring in your own IR files at all.  The spaces that they have setup for it are really excellent and for lots of musicians I could see just throwing it on and being happy.  It doesn't seem like a great reverb from a mixing point of view though. It is very much about sticking something in a space, not so useful if you want to add a bit of reverb to a guitar or a drum or a loop.  Though to be fair I don't think I've really tried using it that way, given all the presets are about locations.  When my Creative Cloud one year subscription is up I won't be purchasing EWQL Spaces, it's just not that useful compared to REmatrix (and other options) to me.

FWIW, I like Rematrix Solo very much. I've demo'd the full version and it's even better. But neither of them allow organization of user impulses nor adding impulses to existing folders.
 
The impulse organization is a deal killer for me. I've used a pulse tone to export all the Rematrix Solo impulses to wav files, and I'm using them in Reflektor, which is also excellent. I exported all the Sound Forge Acoustic Mirror impulses the same way, so I've got Rematrix, Sound Forge, and Perfect Space impulses all nicely organized and ready to pull into Reflector.
 
Of course, Reflektor doesn't do the multi-impulse thing, but I can accomplish that using Reflektor in series or parallel.

I'd check SIR2. Great sounding and easy to import and use IR's. I have most of MoReVox's in there. The full version has zero latency (free version has very high latency and the programs are actually different). Also love the quick envelope control through the GUI. Plus EQ, stretching, and the navigation pane are all readily accessible and easy to use.

Just curious: does ReMatrix include an impulse response that is similar to AIR studios? (Albion)
