I was expecting to find a specific category for "wishes", "improvements" or "bug reports" here in the forum, but didn't. Did I miss that or isn't there any?

Features and Request http://forum.cakewalk.com/Features-Ideas-f76.aspx
Problem Reports http://forum.cakewalk.com/Problem-Reports-f77.aspx
Please read http://forum.cakewalk.com/Feedback-Loop-Handbook-Please-read-before-posting-m3151738.aspx before posting in these areas

Thanks, I thought I had seen something but wasn't sure (and stayed within the SONAR forum).
As I said, I basically wanted to report a problem. What should I do now?
Post a thread at http://forum.cakewalk.com/Problem-Reports-f77.aspx or create a report at http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Contact/Problem-Report or ask someone to convert and move this thread here?

I think you posted in the correct area. Many issues with old 32bit plug-ins are addressed by running SONAR as administrator. I cannot tell if this has been tried.

If it's a reproducible problem where by giving steps to reproduce anyone can duplicate your issues, then you can file a bug report.

However first you need to find out if this really is a general problem or something system-specific. Contacting support would be what I'd recommend as a first step so they can help narrow down the source of the problem, then how to fix it.

I have X1, X2, and X3e installed on my computer as well as 8.5 and Platinum, but don't run into issues with program handling. However I have switched over almost exclusively to 64-bit plug-ins, which probably helps.
