Using X3 and I have a 2i2 interface, guitar going straight into the left channel.  No amp sims, just a dry channel.
Sonar Interleave is set to mono. Track Input set to Scarlett left,  and output set to master.
No matter if I run through a bus first and try to pan the bus or what I set the inputs and outputs to, I always get bleed through.
Even if I bounce the track to mono, same thing!
Panning the master is the only thing that pans the guitar hard left or right.  Setting both track input and output to the interface also allows me to isolate the signal left or right, but that obviously does me no good!
Am I missing something?  I have tried everything I can think of.

Unlikely it is a Sonar X3E bug.

Please confirm you are on X3E and you are on Focusrites latest driver, and no additional plugins.

It sounds like this http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/2934125
Was Focusrite tech support ever contacted about it?

Has anything changed in the last 2 years?
What did Cakewalk tech support say when you called?

Yeah! I finally got some monitors!
No nothing has changed.  Been out of it for a while.  Moved, started a new job...all that jazz.
So I had kind of forgotten about this problem.
I didn't call CW. I presume I will end up going through the same song and dance as my last post and end up right back where I am.  I was hoping , since it has been a while, maybe someone else had encountered this problem since then, and that they could respond with an answer.

I read in another post that ASIO drivers are Stereo only, is this true?
And could that have anything to do with it?

That seems reasonable since there was no mention of the previous thread in the initial post. If it were my issue, I would have called Cakewalk tech support and opened a ticket with Focusrite as their rep suggested in the previous thread. Phone support for X3 is not going to be available forever. The product was discontinued last year. I would expect 2 years would have been plenty of time for Focusrite to help if it is a hardware issue. Especially since a Focusrite rep was in the other thread. I do not see how a lack of a Focusrite user forum affects their ability to provide support.

I searched for the old thread and didn't see it, and my post history was wiped with the site update.
As I said, I've already been down the checklist.  I'll take my chances with the forum.
Maybe someone will see this will the same interface and/or problem.
Really? You don't see how a user forum and interaction with support staff offers support to users?   Okay.
Lol, I "opened a ticket", that's the only option you have, that was my point.
Thanks for the help.
