I downloaded the latest ipswitch update.

When i play back my mix in sonar all sounds good, but when i export audio my one " Arp " sound
get a lot more prominent and louder, this pisses me off... in sonar X3e i had no issues when exporting audio

Why " fix " something that get messed up..
the other tracks seems fine, so i question what's happening ?

Audio examples, is further down in this thread

every sound is well balanced when i play the project in sonar.

Seems like i need to revert back to hopkinton, if no one has a solution ?

To the bakers :
stop messing up what's already have been working  ( go back to X3e ) and look at the code again for audioexport...
Concentrate on the core stability of the DAW... , i have said this several times... do anyone listen !!

I love new functions now and then, but really cmon .... seriously !!

And the new 1 knob FX's ( MAX and GRIT ) boost the volume with no option to compensate output
rather than inserting a limiter to compensate for the the volume boost...., well that said...

People need to get the audio exactly, as the hear it in sonar when exported.... not with "some " hidden surprise's

No it is a plain audio export of the whole mix.

The soft synth has an arp as sound, and no automation or bounce.

if you disable the arp, does it export ok?

The arp is a part of the sound, but i can try another similar sound..

I've done at least 20 exports of audio files since Ipswich came out. The only time I ran into a problem was when I had EQ in the master bus, brought the exported file into SONAR, and forgot to bypass the EQ - essentially the file was being EQed twice.

I recommend using fast bounce, that way there are no issues with potentially running out of computer power or latency during the export process.

well, it's not about the sound now, it's about trying to identify the cause of the problem (aka, troubleshooting) - you should, of course, be able to export the mix as it sounds, but if the export doesn't sound right, we need to work out why not, so we start ruling out possible causes  (like the recent arp bug introduced)

Everything goes into the Master buss, and when i play the project all is fine

I guess what i hear in sonar, should come out the same same way, when i export the project
When i export i use fast bounce.

I did a mix down with ipswitch, but when i hear it in windows compared to sonar, it is not the same sound at all
and that go for the whole mix..

What happens if you import your export back into Sonar and compare the 2?

Route your input straight to your interface, bypassing the master bus.
