Not sure what the prices will be. And I know Thunderbolt is not quite up to snuff on PC yet, but it is coming soon on the next generation of Mobo's.  The Mac dudes will certainly be gobbling these up.
I want the 4 Pre. It's like my 6i6 with 2 more inputs and THUNDERBOLT!   super low RTL folks. Gotta like it.

Well looks like this is for Mac only right now as Focusrite in there wisdom are not going to take a chance on Thunderbolt and Windows right now.
Sort of shows you where the interface market sells the most products.

You can get (rather expensive) thunderbolt 2 adapters for PC.
I don't see anything about it being Mac only?

Cheers...

Whoops looks like I did. I read about "for Mac only" on Gearslutz, can't find the tread now. Might have been from some one who was at NAMM.
Apparently they are not writing drivers for PC but of course on Focusrite can verify if this is just hear say.

I searched for the (out of stock and less expensive) ASRock Thunderbolt 2 PCIe card on amazon and that led to this; http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1039491-REG/hp_f3f43at_hp_thunderbolt_2_pcie_1_port_i_o.html/c/product/#inpage:IN+STOCK#inpage:Shipping+:++$

I don't know how you'd find out if it would work on any other mobo, like my ASRock Z97 Anniversary. Anyone?
I'm not in a hurry on buying, but do want to understand if TB2 is an option. With a Thunderbolt card and the Apple Firewire to Thunderbolt adapter cable, one could start with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 and then upgrade to a TB2 I/O like the Clarett series later.
