Page 14 of that thread?  I must be looking in the wrong place Noel.

Existing SPLAT users, don't forget when you upgrade Assistant 3.0.8 you now have an option to Install Add On's.

I missed that option and it downloaded everything and it installed the Studio Instrument Suite without asking.
Then when I found this option I just upgraded the Theme Editor separately.
All working  100%

Manual is now available but only an online version the Option is gone from Preferences for offline viewing.

- I was then asked if I wanted to install Studio Instruments and clicked 'no'.
- I opened CbB and all seems well, including the Powr dithering options reappearing (thanks guys!)
- But: the Assistant is still saying 'a new version is available'.

I had a similar experience with the Studio Instruments.  Since it said something like the install would not be complete if I cancelled, I reluctantly allowed it to install Studio Instruments even though I already had it installed long ago.  I was wondering why that seemed to be forced.  Anyway, it did complete the install and I haven't seen any difference with the newly installed SI.

One other minor problem - Win10 Programs and Features shows 2 lines for Bandlab - one for version 3.0.6 and 3.0.8.  I thought it should have replaced the 3.0.6 line.  So I deleted the 3.0.6 version using Programs and Features and then both versions were deleted.  So then I re-downloaded BA, installed it, and I still have the 2 lines and can't seem to get rid of the 3.0.6 line.

YES- A progress bar would be very very nice!!
The assistant update gives you zero feedback and I had to close and try again after 20 minutes of nothing happening.
Second try worked right away and took 2 minutes. PITArse.
Then I had to sign in AGAIN.. 3rd time.
Then I click update for Cakewalk and once again,, is it doing anything?? OK a faded "downloading" is winking on and off for those with good eyesight. But one may ask...what is it downloading?? After 10 minutes it showed a green "Update" again?? I was busy typing this and when I looked again-- it's say's downloading again? what? Now I'm probably re downloading something I don't want.  Oh well I can afford the bandwidth right now, but there was a day when I had to be careful about my bandwidth usage.

It's not a big deal but I can't think of any other software installers that are this candid about what is going on.

Overall I'm in a good mood as this is excellent stuff and looking forward to an improved version. Bug fixes--bring em on,,, forget the fancy features, lets' get rid of every single bug first,, right on...Good job Noel, Ben and team.

I must be very thick today, but I cannot find the release notes with that link.

I take ownership for the thickness - I originally posted the wrong link :-P
I was outdoors and couldn't edit from my phone afterwards so thanks to Ben for fixing it.
