i would suggest to anyone to not purchase sonar x3 producer.  I have been using daw's for at least 25 years and trust me folks sonar x3 producer is complete utter garbage and crudware.  Its not even worth it it was ten percent of what the actual price is  .  Its a silly complicated bloatware that is unfun. not intuitive, and total ****ware

I have a brother-in-law and he doesn't work either.
How about a little more info like system specs, what doesn't work, how you're trying to accomplish what doesn't work, etc.???

I'll keep on eye on things.

To the Original Poster (musicaz) - Welcome to the Sonar forums - sorry you are having or have had a frustrating time getting the Addictive Drums to work, and that is extended to any other issues you have with your X3 experience.

If there is functionality or work flow with X3 that you don't care for, I don't know if anything can be done for that, but I CAN tell you that X3 has been extremely stable for quite some time, if you get it up to its current maintenance level of X3e.

I would also assure you that if you were to engage with the folks here in this forum, and list out the details of your issues - each in a separate thread, with as much detail as you can provide, there are quite a few folks here - myself included - that would work with you to try to resolve those issues.

I would also suggest that since there are not a bunch of threads here with X3e crashes or show stopper issues, that some number of your issues might well be able to be resolved - or at least given one or more workarounds.  In other words, your issues may well be local to your PC, and therefore fairly likely to be fixable.

It's completely up to you - If you wish to address your issues - participate in fixing them, or not.  I would suggest you would be missing out on what is considered by many to be one of the best and most stable releases of Sonar ever put out, if you decide to just sit back and take pot shots at it.

I stand ready to assist, and I believe others do to.

It seems to be in the demo mode and doesnt work   and i do own additive drums  the original and use it in fl studio all the time but i also realize that additive drums 2 is only to be used in sonar x 3 producer and it doesnt work in any way at all . No sound, no drum samples apparently and beats dont make any sounds either

OK - thanks for posting some details - I will do some digging and post back as soon as I can, since you are currently available to work on this.

Quick questions:

1.  Have you applied the X3e maintenance?
2.  Can you please post back with the steps you followed when you ran the install for Addictive Drums?

Also, here are some quick links you can take a look at - they may or may not be of assistance, as I am still looking into things, and I also do not have information on your install or your system, as of yet:

I will continue to look into things, based on your post above, and will post back shortly - maybe some other folks more familiar with Addictive Drums will jump in to help in the meantime.  (I generally use Battery 3).  :)
