I seem to have that too. Can't say I like it but its not a huge issue for me though I would want it to be fixed soon.

I have a major issue with this too. Have checked all the advice above still not resolved

Nice vid...

No I'm not having the same issue. I do have a NVidia card but I'm using this driver as I find the latest to be unstable:
314.22-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql.exe

Then again somebody has the issue with an AMD graphics card which might rule out graphics card.

Having said that the timeline isn't exactly the smoothest scolling experience I've ever seen, it seems to repaint itself rather a lot. I can't remember if the behaviour has changed or not.

Only thing I can think of is - is everybody up to date on Windows Update like I am?
Do you have the optional fixes installed in windows update? (I've got all of the optional updates apart from Bing and a load of language packs I think).
Thanks...

I've updated my bug thread as a "to be confirmed bug" as we can't really pinpoint the cause, even though I can't repro there's enough who can:

Strange.... I wonder what the commonality is? Can't deny it's not an issue but what exactly is going on if it doesn't effect me?

Mind you I'm on 314.22 (old nVidea drivers), which seems to be more stable for me (latest drivers BSOD my system periodically!).

I was about to update Windows and noticed that it was already fully updated. As it was already updated, the play cursor/line was already lagging.
