Not to hijack this thread but I upgraded & supposedly have a 1 year membership and I have no idea what that means.
I didn't get any membership # or any instructions about anything so for me the membership means absolutely zero. My year will be up before I ever figure out how to use it.

When you appreciate what you have,
you have a lot more
(sorry, I just couldn't help in quoting your own sig. ).

There are plenty of threads in here as well as the Sonar FAQ's to give you info on the membership details. It usually works out for the better when the reading on the finer details of upgrading/membership are done before pushing the pay button........YMMV.

It means that for the next 12 months you get every upgrade to Sonar that is released, you get every piece of additional content that is added to the membership program during that time and you get unlimited premium support direct from Cakewalk (other suppliers will make you pay on a per incident basis).

i.e post #8

The extra wurds in post #9 means it's much better value for money.

Membership=updates, fixes and new features on a more timely basis than before.

yeah but wondering what that actually means in non-marketing terms, forum users may wonder if you don't have anything more important in your life... http://forum.cakewalk.com/any-timelines-for-the-up-next-for-members-features-m3163095.aspx

also, it seems the updates will be monthly! woo http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=429669&p=6010041&hilit=updating+product+monthly#p6010041 so there should be something coming along quite soon :)

If only it were that simple.

Can't remember the last time I actually got one. It's been mentioned by many members over the years, myself included, that the email delivery to subscribers is very unreliable. I used to get them, but not for a few years now and nothing has changed at my end.

since setting up my sso account, i've been getting "upgrade now" emails - is that the newsletter? (i'd previously dropped off the radar more than once)

You're still the same old miserable sod or you don't get newsletters?

Just curious. Did you sign up for newsletters after you successfully merged your forum account to the SSO system? And (just asking the basic) are you sure your email associated with your SSO is correct?

I'm in the same boat. I've signed up multiple times in multiple places using multiple methods. Cakewalk apparently hates me and does not want to take my money.

If any of the baker's happen to know the solution, PLEASE get me added to these stupid e-mail lists and take my money.
