My new forum account (I had to create a new one because my current user login name wasn't in the user database) shows my old forum account user email etc. this will be the third time I've tried to post.. Hurrah, if it works this time.

I haven't been able to log in in weeks, I contacted support and did get reply this morning. So they are on it. :)

However last night I did a windows update including explorer 11 ( on windows 7) and after that I was able to log in.

So if you are on a old browser might be worth a try.

Gents, I can´t login  with my old name since months.
Help, or is ist too late?

What I tried over the last 3 months

Using different browsers:
Tried several times to migrate my forum account.
Typing in my name-  forum login etc

Every time I tried this a pop up appeared:  wrong password or any other thing "wrong"
In between I deleted the cookies, updated the browser-no love.
Resetting 4 times my password= nothing

Wrote the technical support-
Wrote them that I already had reseted my password,
but they recommend  again to  reset my password- and guess wht- nothing happens.

Also I know that it could be my failure.

My old forum name:
Pragi

Thanks in advance !

This is one that us Hosts can't help with.  All I can suggest is to send a PM to either Ryan Munnis or Willy Jones.  They're the experts with login problems and have the tools to help.

I too have a problem with the migration... When i tried to migrate my 'old' account (c5_convertible), it told me that the password was incorrect, so I reset the password. When I did that, it told me my account name (c5_convertible) was not available. So, I thought, maybe it (or I...) did it already, and i tried logging on, which didn't work. I tried re-registering with a new account, but it told me that my email address was already in use. So, I dug up another email account that I have, and used that to create the account I'm using in this post.
I wanted to ask support, but I couldn't find the correct form for a forum issue... So, can someone (probably from cakewalk) help me with this? I would like to use my old account name...

Thanks.

There is a dedicated area for discussing forum issues http://forum.cakewalk.com.orum-Discussion-f78.aspx which is monitored by CW staff

ok. Thanks! I'll post the question there, as soon as I get home, as the corporate proxy doesn't allow the link... Strangely enough. This one works fine, but the one you pointed to doesn't... go figure :)

I fixed the link. The link is to the Forum Discussion area. It should be visible from http://forum.cakewalk.com in the Feedback Loop section.
