i'm trying to install the free izotope neutrino plug-in and i get the following error:
 
"error installing C++ x64 redistributable. error code 1638"
 
Googling and going to a MS page, it says i need to install the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015"
 
does this sound correct? anyone else seen this? i don't want to install it if it will cause my sonar not to run.

Had the same thing, not Sonar related and doesn't affect the plugin working. I have raised it with Izotope so they are aware.

The installation aborts and the plug is not installed. 

Same issue although plugin exists it fails to load. It is probably looking for the specific version of c++ which it failed to install but if you have the specific version already it will work.
 

plug actually got installed, didn't really abort. the dll was where it was supposed to be, and so was my C++. i think the installer couldn't cope with a previously installed C++ version. i did a vst reset and sonar now sees it.

Yeah, had this too. It still works with what I already had on the machine.

Just curious if you guys find it useful? I've put it on a bass track, can't say if I hear much difference.
