I prefer to post a request here rather than re-participating in
this unnecessarily long thread on the SONAR forum.
I think we should be able to change the name and also background color of audio/MIDI clips more easily (I don't want to have the Inspector expanded all the time). The video below shows a competitor DAW, and as you can see it does the job faster and more easily (to change the clip background color, just click the color picker in the upper left corner of the right-click menu).
