Hi all,

I'm brand new to Cakewalk products, and didn't get very far in the Music Creator 6 Touch tutorials before I hit a snag. In the tutorial entitled "Finding and previewing audio loops," I have a couple problems. First, the tutorial asks me to open a template called "Pop Song Template--Medium," a template which does not appear in my quickstart options. I winged it and just opened "Pop Medium Tempo 1." The next thing it asks me to do, however, is to "Click the Content Location drop-down list and select Rock Organ," a setting which, as far as I can tell, does not appear in my drop-down list (which only includes "audio library, MIDI groove clips, Project Files, Sample Content, Track Icons, and Track Templates). Furthermore, when I actually open "audio library," all I see are Backing Tracks, Drums, and Loopmasters Dubstep and Tech Pack." Is there something obvious and dumb I'm doing to be so confused so early in this tutorial?

If anyone could bring light to my stupidity, I'd really appreciate it.

I believe the video was made with the original Music Creator 6. The newer Music Creator 6 Touch came with different content. The explanation starts here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/2835185

Thanks for replying! But I'm not using the video tutorials; I'm using the text tutorials for Music Creator 6 Touch. But I did see in the thread you linked to that not all the content is available through the digital download version; is that correct? I bought the product through Steam. If so, is there a way to download the missing loops?

IDK, the text tutorials may not have been updated to reflect the changes to the product between MC6 and MC6T. I doubt it is a Steam distribution issue and can only suggest you email tech support.
