Hi Folks,
I got the new Behringer Motör49 controller keyboard.
I can't get it working as a Mackie Control Surface. It always says "connecting...".

I tried many things I read in the forum about the Behringer X-Control but nothing helped.

Has anybody some experiences with this device?

I couldn't get my M-Audio Code to work in SPlat using Sonar's built-in Mackie Control. Then I discovered AZController form AZSlow, now it works like a charm.

Thanks, I will give it a try. Will it work with motorized faders?

AZ works great with my FaderPort, which has a single motorized fader.

So the Motor49/61s are out now.  I've been waiting to check one out

Yea, they are out, I nearly purchased one this week
Might pay to read through the post in the Cakewalk Products/Sonar forum regarding the Behringer Xtouch, which also has motorised faders, dont know if it will help you with the motor 49

FWIW, I have an X-Touch setup in Sonar.  Works great and quiet faders, not noisy like my old BCF2000.

I have updated my MackieControl mod: http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3311275
It should work with all devices which claim do be Mackie Control compatible but stuck showing "Connecting..." status. The mod has one extra option now: "Disable handshake", which should solve that problem.

There are reports that original VS-700 plug-in till some degree works with Mackie Control compatible devices.

X-Touch is known as really compatible, so it works with stock plug-in. Since there was no success reports from Motör, may be they forgot about handshake part of the protocol. But the first thing to check is correct Input and Output ports in Sonar Control Surfaces preferences.

Mackie preset in AZ Controller is not well tested. I suggest to give Cakewalk MackieControl a try (or my moded version of it in case stock one does not work).

Greetings from Heidelberg ;)
