okay, where did you find it?  I just had to reinstall windows 8 on my all in one, and it used to run perfect, now it doesn't list the vs700....help please!!!

Since the latest SONAR installers do not install control surface plugins, we have created a separate installer for these. Follow the steps below if you are missing any control surface plugins.
Close any Cakewalk software you have running
Download the file, Cakewalk Control Surface plugins_1.0.0.1.zip
Find the file in your Windows File Explorer, right-click it, and choose Extract All...
Make sure the "Show extracted files when complete" box is checked
Click Extract
Run Cakewalk Control Surface Plugins_1.0.0.1.exe

ok, I tried this....I got excited......when installing, I could see "sonar vs700" go by, but it is still not in the list of control surfaces in sonar.......we are getting closer....

to elaborate a little more...here is my problem:

 
I was working perfectly fine with the VS700R and the console.  Then my computer crashed.
 
I had to to a full windows 8 reinstall, and now I can't get it to recognize the console.
 
Maybe I am instaling everything wrong, I don;t know.  I know the 700r is working, I can record through it.  It just isn't seeing the console.
 
If I look in the shared surfaces folder of sonar, there is a chm file for the vs700, but no dll file, could that be the problem?
 
Please help!

I just lived this....Check out this thread, Scroll through it and you will see my issues transpire and slowly get solved. (Thanks to aslow3 I might add) Hopefully this helps.
