Almost the same problem as denka here. Purchased Cakewalk SONAR Platinum (with Lifetime Updates) Upgrade from any SONAR (SKU: CAKE-SONA-UPG6) from AudioDeluxe, and on redemption received the error: "The Internet is Broken. Well at least our little corner of it is."

 
Hell, yes, I forgot about this detail happened to me, as well. I tried second  time and got the message that  the code is  already used. I checked up my account and now we are talking here, after all.

Maybe a silly question (and sorry if it's already been addressed; I found nothing conclusive in any search results), but does Platinum need to be installed by today in order to receive the Lifetime Updates, or simply purchased? (I have some work I'd like to finish up in X3 before installing SPlat.)

Purchase before the deadline, install when convenient.

Register your number if you bought it from a 3rd party today, but you don't need to install.  Per the Sticky FAQ.

That would be horrible if you had to have it installed.  I bought mine specifically for the Mac version, which is not out yet.  I would be so bummed.

Okay, I did it.  I am a lifetime Sonar Platinum-narian! (Cue joke about how bad a club must be if it has me as a member.)

I have my lifetime membership in the pocket (hurray)... I do hope you will sell me numerous add ons. I would like to have a sample library of an official Yamaha Oak drumkit... Or any oak drumkit for that matter. As I am totally into that drumsound. It would be amazing you would team up with whomever could make you such add ons.
 
I mean I still have to spend a certain number every year to thank you guys in a proper way.... !
