Hello, friends -

I've been using HS 6 for about 10 yrs but just bought a new computer w/ Windows 10 and figured it might be time to upgrade my SONAR as well. A couple questions regarding that upgrade:

1. Will I be able to load Cakewalk Project Files (songs) I created in HS smoothly into SONAR Artist and edit them etc?

2. I added Dimension Pro to my HS but can't load my Dimension disk on my new computer. Is it still possible to buy Dimension Pro as a standalone piece of software and use it with SONAR Artist? If not, can anyone recommend a good substitute?

THanks much!

1. Using the 32bit version of Artist, yes. Although there may be a need to install some HS plug-ins that have been discontinued. Using the 64bit version of Artist, maybe not completely. It depends on whether you used 32bit DX plug-ins that have never been ported to 64bit. The 64bit version of Artist will load the projects but will report missing plug-ins. It is possible to install both 32bit and 64bit versions of Artist on the same PC.
2. Email Account Support if DPro is not already listed as a download in your account. You could also try to recover the product using the instruction here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3148924. FWIW, DPro is no longer sold. It is only available with Platinum. Rapture Pro is sold separately and contains all the DPro content.
