I have one left and one right acoustic guitar mono tracks which in hindsight I should have done as one stereo track.
 
I have searched and found this tip from CJ way back in Sonar X1:

In SPlat that seems to be the Tracks/Bounce submenu, but no combination does what I need.
I get TWO stereo tracks, each just duplicating the mono!
 
I need ONE track, with one mono track left and the other right.
 
I have asked this before, long ago, but cannot find it.

I would export the 2 tracks to a stereo file.
Pan track 1 left, track 2 right, export it and call it a day.

... or, OUTput them to an Aux Track panned left/right

Or bring them into Take Lanes, pan right and left, bounce to clip.

I hope Ripple Edit Hole will obviate the need to clump mic pairs in a stereo clip.

Im not sure ripple editing will help this situation jay.
Its more of a routing situation. I sometimes do exactly what you are doing.
And the way I explained it (your right) it seems to be the most direct way, though Bob and Craig have some great ideas as well.
 
remember you can always fast bounce it too. with a 2 track / panned file like this, it should bounce/export within a few seconds.

...except the stereo file is mono - i.e. has two identical mono channels - strange.
Yes, I panned both tracks left and right.

Edit: I found out for the panning to work on export, "Track Automation" must be selected.

I mentioned it because it has wider applicability than the OP's situation so thought others might find it useful. A lot of times I use Take Lanes to do massed vocals with a dozen mono tracks or so. Then I do the panning and bounce to "thin it down."
