Had this happen once only to find that keyboard had number lock on.

Is anyone that is having the missing key bindings using the new Synth Rack?
 
@craigr68 reported in Problem Reports that Shift+A would not open the Automation Lanes (http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3525324).  I was able to confirm it in one of my projects, but could not reproduce it in a new project.
 
Since the 2016.11 update, the Up and Down arrow keys no longer worked to navigate between tracks in one of my projects.  I discovered the arrow keys were navigating the new Synth Rack docked to the Right even though it was not focused.  I closed the Synth Rack and the arrow keys began functioning as expected.
 
Closing or docking the Synth Rack in a different location seemed to workaround the problem for both @craigr68 and myself.  YMMV.
 
Unfortunately, I have not been able to develop a fully reproducible recipe to confirm this behavior.

I found the same happening here. Delete key wouldn't work to delete part of a clip - worked in Word, so I knew the system was ok. Went back to Sonar - still didn't work, but opened and closed the Synth Rack and the delete key was then fine. It does seem to have something to do with the Synth Rack but haven't done enough investigation to narrow it down further than that.

DEL key is not working here too... :(
 

Del key isn't working for me.

I re-bound it in Preferences and it works now.

YEAH~ Same here, And I don't know sometimes it works, sometimes, it just dosent.
 
And sometimes I encountered can't use ALT+ right click to cut, very strange

Had this happen to me for the first time yesterday.   Tried to delete a clip, but nothing happened when pressing the DEL key.  Restarted Sonar, and everything was fine.

Same for me. Various post seem to be reporting symptoms of keyboard-related issues in the latest release.

Same issue for me, as well. I normally have my Synth Rack floating on my 3rd monitor, but when I re-open a project, Sonar doesn't remember that and parks the Synth rack in the main screen next to track view. As long as it remains there, the delete won't work in Track View. As soon as I grab the Synth rack and drag it to it's appointed place on the other monitor, Delete works in Track View. No key binding adjustment required.
 
For whatever reason, however, I did have to re-bind the "F" key to "Resize All Tracks". Even though it was showing as being bound to that command, it wasn't working until I manually re-did the binding. Kind of annoying...
