Hi all.  Going for a rebuilt later today with a fresh install of both windows and SPlat.  My question:  Do I need to install X3 first?  I feel like there are some plugs that are no longer included.  For example, is the wonderful VC64 still in SPlat?

Any insight appreciated.

Hi. The VC-64 was included earlier than X3, as I do not have it myself. Must have been X1 or X2 that shipped with it last. If you want to use plugins from earlier releases, install them first.
Here is a list of plugins that shipped with the latest versions.

All the best.

Perfect.  Thanks for the link.
When you say "install them first", do I go to install X3, then custom, then find just the plugs I want, and install them, and then install the main Platinum, or do I need to install X3 fully, then install SPLAT in addition?

Nevermind, all that info was in the link you sent.  Thanks again.

If you have the previous Sonar installer files, you can just install the latest Sonar now.

Then, if you find that you are missing a favorite plugin from a past version, you can run a custom install for that version (be sure to select custom install when running it) and uncheck everything except just that particular plugin.  You can always start an installer, to see what's included, then cancel it if no plugins in there that you want.

I had to do this to retrieve Pentagon, which is no longer bundled with Sonar since X3.

Only that plugin will be installed, not the Sonar applications and other packages from that prior version.
