  • Rapture PITCH VelTrack and Vel->int parameters incorrectly indicated as cents?

So when I alter the parameters with the mouse, in the pop-up window (as in the manual) it reads "ct" (meaning cents).
But in the VelTrack field I had to enter 4800 in order to get one octave higher when pressing the key at maximum (127) velocity. Had they been cents indeed, 1200 would have been enough to reach the octave, am I right?

Parameter Vel->int behaves incorrectly as well.

Parameter Depth behaves normally. They are Cents indeed.

Anyone can replicate this?

BUMP!

Forum Hosts, please reply this - it appears to be a bug.

Hosts are users with no special knowledge about Cakewalk products. As you have surmised, there is little documentation on the Pitch envelop EG parameter Veltrack. What documentation there is appears at odds with the tooltip. Unless someone with a clear understanding of how this parameter works can weight in, all I can suggest is contact tech support.

Ok, I understand, but can you at least confirm that your installation of Rapture behaves the same way?

Yes but there lies the problem. There is nothing in the documentation or my copy of Cann's "Cakewalk Synthesizers" which discusses the parameter at all in the context of the Pitch Envelop.

I did find a couple of threads which mention the parameter
