Starting a new thread on this in the hope of it getting some attention.

Try it for yourself...
Start a new project...insert an audio track...adust the gain...clone the track...notice the gain level not cloned???

The thing is that the setting is cloned...just not refelected in the gain fader setting until it is clicked on then adusted.

Was hoping it may be fixed in todays update but not.

This has come up at least once before back in April, and a Baker chimed in, but there's no indication it was ever formally reported:

You should go ahead and do that or maybe PM John T, and ask if he reported it.

I also remember this. I cant remember if it was reported, fixed or not.
will try it myself in a few and get back here later on.

Another update..another time this issue gets ignored. Pretty clunky. I really just want a DAW to work like it should.

how do you know it got ignored if you didn't follow up on it (unless of course you did and told you it hasn't been fixed yet).

the same thing happens with velocities in the instrument tracks!

Another update...still no fix on the gain cloning

You've been asked 3 times whether or not you've reported this but as far as I can see, you haven't answered the question.
 
Please remember this is a peer to peer forum and there is no guarantee that a Baker will even see this thread, let alone act on it.
 
 

ya, you cant expect something to be magically fixed if you don't follow up on it.
Like I asked you 6 weeks ago, did you follow up on this ?
