Hi,
I imported an Rex2 tambourine clip to my project that has live drums. Is it possible to move around the hits on the tambourine so it follows the drums better? as I understand Rex2 imports are treated like groove clips, does that make it possible?
Or do I need to bounce it to a regular audio and then make the adjustments with audiosnap?
Help would be appreciated.

You could of course drag the beginning and end of your rex file, down to one or more tambourine hits, then copy and paste the file wherever you need, to get the desired pattern.

Maybe someone knows better, but doesn't Sonar include a vst instrument called "RXP", which is a rex file player.  You could load the file into RXP, and play the new pattern on your keyboard.  CHeckout this thread:

Another option would be to throw the rex file into a sampler which support rex files, like Shortcircuit, which is now free, and can be found here:  http://www.vemberaudio.se/shortcircuit.php  You could then program a different tambourine pattern.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestions. It would seem SONAR now support Rex natively, I simply dropped the file in an audio track, and SONAR could play it (and loop it if wanted). After more playing with it, I don't think you can adjust the hits like you can in Audiosnap....I have now bounced it and did the adjusting in audiosnap.

Yes, Sonar definitely supports rex files, I use them all the time in my own projects.  I was suggesting way to manipulate the rex files, for your purpose.    More info on working with rex files can be found here:
